Big rig and auto collide in snow and ice, Intertstate  5 and Smokey Bear Road. Heavy snow is falling now along the Grapevine area.

House Destroyed by Fire, 7000 Digier Cyn RD, Kern County Fire Department

Kern County and Los Angeles County firefighters are battling a house fire in the 7000 block of Digier Cyn Rd at 12:30 pm today. Heavy snow, icy roads and lack of water supply thwarted firefighting efforts. The fire has taken over an hour to contain. Photo Jeff Zimmerman, copyright.
