.DISCUSSION...
AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE COUPLED WITH A SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE AREA
OVER NEVADA WILL BRING WARM AND DRY CONDITIONS OVER MUCH OF THE
AREA INTO THURSDAY. DAYTIME MINIMUM HUMIDITIES WILL CONTINUE TO
DROP INTO THE TEENS AND SINGLE DIGITS ALMOST EVERYWHERE. OVERNIGHT
HUMIDITY RECOVERIES WILL REMAIN FAIRLY POOR...ESPECIALLY OVER THE
MOUNTAINS AND HILLS WHERE HUMIDITIES WILL STRUGGLE TO GET OUT OF
THE TEENS AND 20S. THE SURFACE HIGH WILL ALSO GENERATE LOCALLY
BREEZY NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS OVER THE FAVORED AREAS THROUGH
EARLY WEDNESDAY. SEVERAL HOURS OF CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE STILL EXPECTED OVER ISOLATED MOUNTAIN AND VALLEY
LOCATIONS...BUT A LACK OF WINDS AND DURATIONS WILL KEEP RED FLAG
WEATHER CRITERIA FROM BEING MET.
