Los Angeles County and United States Forest Service firefighters responded to a 3 acre wildfire on Interstate 5 just south of Smokey Bear RD on March 31, 2012. Quick actions of firefighters held the fire to 3 acres with no structural damage. Cause is underinvestigation. Rain quickly followed suppression efforts. Santa Anas are supposed to surface on Monday with strong gusty offshore winds.
