Numerous lightning strikes and small vegetation fires erupted as lightning hit the Antelope Valley today. Hot temperatures are expected tomorrow as crews continue to mop up several lightning sparked wildfires. There is a substantial fire burning in Kern County near Lake Isablella in the Bodfish area. We will monitor the fire situation very closely.
