Structure Fire Lancaster




It took 20 minutes for LA County Firefighters from Fire Station 33, 117, 135, 129 in Lancaster CA to control a house fire at 44608 Stanridge St. At approximately 09:15 pm, multiple calls to 911 were received reporting that a house was on fire at 2nd street and Nugent streets. Upon arrival firefighters encountered fire and dense smoke inside of the vacant home at 44608 Stanridge. Nevertheless firefighters searched the home twice to make sure that nobody was left inside. Captain Cook of County Fire Station 33 stated that the entire interior of the home is a total loss with damages exceeding 80,000 to the structure. The fire is under investigation by LA County Sheriff and Fire Department Investigators.
