A serious traffic accident occured at the intersection of Pearblossom Highway and Sierra Highway this afternoon. Firefighters from Los Angeles County Fire Department had to extricate two critically injured patients from a vehicle. Additional resources including a paramedic helicopter were ordered to fly a critical patient to Providence Holy Cross Hospital. The accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
