The Escondido Canyon Fire (LACOFD 80) is now contained, some resources are going available.
A new fire in LAFD Task Force 1 District near Elysian Park is burning in grass and brush near Solano and the 110 Freeway. Helicopters are being used to halt the rate of spread.
